We’re planning upgrades to make Wilberforce Walk (between Leah Street and Nairne Terrace) safer and more inviting for walking and cycling.

No matter your age or ability, we want this space to be easier and more enjoyable for everyone to use.

Some of the key improvements we’re proposing include:

  • A raised pedestrian (wombat) crossing on Leah Street
  • Slow points with bike bypass lanes and landscaping on Nichols Street
  • Intersection upgrades on Nichols Street at Leah Street, Charles Street, Ethel Street and Nairne Terrace
  • Better lighting to improve safety at night.

We’d love to hear what you think! You can check out the Concept Plan and share your feedback through a quick online survey on Your Say Unley

Your input will help us refine the design before we move to the next stage of detailed design later this year.

The survey is open until 5pm, Friday 14 March 2025.
