Popular venues the Garden of Unearthly Delights and Gluttony have opened in the city’s east end parklands – but you don’t have to venture beyond Unley to enjoy cultural experiences of all flavours.

Goodwood Theatre and Studios is hosting an array of shows for lovers of comedy, dance theatre and cabaret, with daytime performances for families and young people.

One-woman show ‘An Incomplete Encyclopedia of Hugs’ is on at Little Reid Theatre from 20-23 February, two shows on Sunday 23 February. Warm, witty and engaging.

‘F-boy George’s Guide to Feminism’ is an in-your-face, adults only comedy on the main stage on 25, 26 and 27 February, returning on 2 March. Shocking and dangerously funny.

The wacky world of 18th century buccaneers comes to you in ‘Pyrates’, playing on 26 and 27 February and again on 7, 8 and 9 March. Swashbuckling and sassy.

For dance lovers, check out ‘Bloom Ballet Gala’ on stage on 2 and 15 March.

Love the Bard? Experience him in a completely new way with the ‘Shakespeare Ghostbusters’ troupe from 12 to 16 March on Goodwood’s main stage.

One for the family, the world premiere of ‘Virtual Unreality’ takes a humorous look at the digital world our kids are living in. Enlightening. Saturday 8 March 2pm matinee show.

Dance with a message, ‘Cut Ways’ is a migration journey filled with danger, a performance with heart. Various session times in the Studio Theatre at Goodwood on 13, 14 and 15 March.

‘Partying With Manson’ is female comedy guaranteed to offend everyone, especially if you like jokes about cults and serial killers – from 3 to 9 March.

Tracy Crisp’s show ‘Where to From Here’ is gentler and more intimate but will keep you laughing with her life observations. 14 to 16 March.

If you love sexy burlesque, get along to ‘Hot Sauce Hotties’ cabaret on 19 March, for one show only. In a second new performance the ‘Hot Sauce Time Machine’ graces the stage again on 21 and 22 March. Hot and spicy adults only fun.
