Download the template through this link - Sloth-Template.pdf(PDF, 2MB)

For this craft you will need:

  • 1 x copy of the craft template
  • 4 x wooden spring pegs
  • 1 x cotton-wool ball
  • Glue stick or craft glue
  • Sticky tape
  • Scissors
  • Crayons, pencils or textas

Directions:

  • Cut out the shapes on your template.
  • Glue the large circle onto large bean shape, and then glue the smaller circle onto the smaller bean shape to make your sloths.
  • Glue the heart-shapes onto the circle shape to make a face for your sloths. Draw on some eyes, a nose, and a mouth to complete your sloths faces.
  • Pull apart your cotton-wool ball and glue onto the sloths bodies to give them soft, fluffy tummies.
  • Use 2 pegs to attach the little sloth to the big sloth. Then use 2 more pegs to attach the big sloth to your card. Use some glue or sticky tape to help secure your pegs if needed.
  • Write the name of the person you're giving your card to, Dad, Grandad, or another important grown-up in your life. Then write your name so they remember who made them this beautiful craft!
