craft for Anemone is not the enemy  

Sea anemone triorama

 

For this craft you will need:

  • 2 google eyes
  • 1 square of blue card
  • 1 piece of thick frieze tape or card 15cm long
  • Crepe paper
  • 1 pipe cleaner (make sure your frieze tape, crepe paper and pipe cleaner are all the same colour)
  • Some green tissue paper or wool

Directions:

  • Fold your blue square corner to corner, open up and then turn 90 degrees and fold corner to corner.
  • Cut along one line and overlap two flaps to make your triorama background.
  • Sticky tape your purple band into a loop.
  • Use pipe cleaners and crepe paper to create anemone’s tentacles.
  • Decorate your triorama like a rock pool.
Recycled CD fish

For this craft you will need:

  • An old cd
  • Coloured paper – you can use what you have lying around, paint some paper and cut out, use confetti etc
  • Template(PDF, 389KB)
  • String or wool

Directions:

  • Print your template onto colour card and cut out
  • Cut your coloured paper into small, irregular shapes like scales
  • Decorate your fish, gluing on the scales and then the template pieces including the eyes and lips
  • Once your fish is dry, thread the string through the middle hole of the CD and tie up.
  • You can hang your fish in a window to catch the light, or in a tree outside.

For this craft you will need:

Directions:

  • Print your template onto green card and cut out
  • Decorate the underside of the bowl with the green and brown crepe paper to look like a turtle shell
  • Using a stapler or sticky tape, attach the turtle’s fins and head to the edge of the bowl.
  • Using glue, stick on the eyes to the turtle’s head.             
Googly goldfish craft  

Googly goldfish

For this craft you will need:
  • Orange crepe paper
  • Orange paper or card
  • x1 paper cup
  • a small piece of string
  • googly eyes
  • sticky tape and/or glue

Directions:

  • Cut up some small strips of crepe paper for the tail. Wrap the rest of your paper around the cup and secure with sticky tape.
  • Tape your streamers on the end of the goldfish’s tail.
  • Cut out two fins from the card and secure to the sides with sticky tape. 
  • Glue two googly eyes on near the lip of the cup.
  • Tape both ends of the string to the inside of the cup for a fishy handle.

Voila!
