Please note the changes to operating hours across our facilities during the festive season.
Toss it? No way... fix it! Do you have a broken, torn or busted household item? Bring it along to the Unley Repair Cafe and learn how to fix it with the help of some expert repairers. The Unley Repair Cafe is a monthly free, open community event aiming to divert items from landfill, pass on valuable repairing knowledge, and connect community. Our sessions typically include electronic, clothing, shoe, furniture, bike, jewellery, mechanical and general repairs, depending on repairer availability. Please note:
Everyone is welcome, no matter what council you're from - even if you don't have an item to repair.
Come and connect with your neighbours, see what's being repaired - and maybe learn a new skill!
The Unley Repair Cafe runs on the last Saturday of every month, and is closed for the summer months. Like the Unley Repair Cafe Facebook page to stay in the loop with upcoming events. We're always looking for session volunteers, so if you'd like to be involved (either repairing or supporting), please get in touch with Ruby (Unley Repair Cafe Coordinator) at repaircafe@sustainablecommunitiessa.org.au or visit unleyrepaircafe.wordpress.com
The Unley Repair Cafe is supported by Sustainable Communities SA Inc.
