The Unley Spring Fling showcases our beautiful gardens and neighbourhoods, celebrates community pride and encourages green thumbs and non-green thumbs alike to get gardening! 

The Unley Spring Fling Community Event, held in partnership with the Herb Society of South Australia's Herb Day Market at Fullarton Park, will be a celebration of all things gardening on Sunday 3 November. Come along, bring a picnic rug, enjoy the live music and the sights and smells of Spring and stay awhile!

Celebrate Spring in beautiful Fullarton Park with live music, great food, activities and a wonderful community atmosphere.

Spring Fling is brought to you by the City of Unley in proud partnership with the Herb Society of South Australia, Mitre 10 Barrow & Bench, Green Adelaide and Yates Australia.

Expect lots of interactive activities, gardening inspiration and sustainability education:

• Plant and homewares marketplace curated by the Herb Society of SA.
• Interactive stalls and activities by Green Adelaide, Beekeepers Society of SA, Birds SA, Unley Voices for Climate Action and more.
• Try your hand at plant propagation by seed and cutting with Yates and Mitre 10 Barrow & Bench.
• Bring your gardening questions and problems to our gardening experts for advice and have your secateurs sharpened.
• Unley Gardener's Plant Rescue, located on site, will open for a plant sale from 10am - 12pm. Rescuing no longer wanted plants from across Adelaide, this group raises funds for a range of charities and have a wonderful selection of unique and mature plants for purchase.
• Kids - make your own nature crowns and sunflower seed bombs with Nature Play SA, go on a Green Adelaide treasure hunt, and learn how to make your own nature seed packets to take home.
• Plus - a Herb Society raffle with wonderful prizes, and lots of gardening giveaways!

Food and Drink

• Barista coffee and tea.
• Scones (sweet and savoury) and honey joys handmade by the Happy Valley and North Adelaide branches of the Country Women's Association. Grab some things to take home from their trading table.
• BBQ chicken and veggie burgers for sale from Rotary Club of Unley.
