As a Parkside resident for the past 15 years, I am proud of the welcoming, diverse, friendly community we live in. Diversity and inclusion matters!
My background is in healthcare (physiotherapy) and I hold a Masters of Public Health. This means I view Council activities through the lens of accessibility for all ages and levels of ability, and encouraging healthier lifestyles and habits. Let’s get the basics right, like safe footpaths, safer roads and cycle routes.
Our community is made so much richer by the contribution of Unley Council’s team of volunteers. I volunteer in Unley Library and will always advocate for library funding as they are the heart of our community.
As a dog owner I am passionate about ensuring we have dog-friendly spaces and suitable policies for the many pet owners in our community.
I believe our community wants a council which leads the way in areas such as tree canopy, waste management (especially plastic waste) and reducing carbon emissions.
Underscoring all of this, however, is an awareness that council funds must be spent responsibly, ensuring that council rates are reasonable.
