Celebrate Your Neighbour Competition
Terms and Conditions
The promoter is the City of Unley, 181 Unley Road, Unley SA 5061.
Submissions must reflect the spirit of Neighbours Every Day. Neighbour Day is celebrated annually on the last Sunday in March. The theme for this year is Neighbours Every Day. This competition is about giving a shout out to our good neighbours, the ones that welcome us, offer help and support, or make our street a better place to live.
Key dates:
Opens - Friday 28 March 2025.
Closes - 9pm, Sunday 20 April 2025.
Late entries will not be accepted.
Entry is open to people of all ages currently residing in the City of Unley.
Nominated neighbours must currently reside in the City of Unley.
Entry is online via the City of Unley website using the online entry form, or by hardcopy entry form located and returned to any of the following: Unley Civic Centre, Unley Community Centre, Clarence Park Community Centre, Fullarton Park Community Centre, Goodwood Community Centre, Unley Library, Goodwood Library, Unley Museum and Unley Swimming Centre.
All entries must be:
Original work.
150 words or less.
Previously unpublished (including on websites, blogs, or social media).
Entry is limited to one submission per person.
Entry details required:
Name, email, suburb and daytime phone contact + nominated neighbour name and suburb.
By entering, you grant the City of Unley the right to publish your entry on the City of Unley website, social media accounts and other publishing or broadcast platforms. If you are judged a winner, you will be contacted to arrange a photo with your nominated neighbour.
The judges’ decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into. Judges cannot provide feedback on individual entries. Judges will be a panel of appropriately qualified staff from the City of Unley.
The City of Unley staff, Elected Members and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
Up to ten winners will be announced on Thursday 24 April 2025 via the City of Unley website and social media platforms. Winners will be contacted directly using their provided contact details.
Facebook is in no way involved in the promotion or prize for this competition.
Prizes
10 prizes of 1x Tony and Mark's gift basket, to be presented to your nominated neighbour.
Each gift basket is valued at $100.00
The prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for other goods or cash.
