The City of Unley supplies residents with a three-bin system to help divert materials from landfill and support resource recovery.
Council’s waste management is operated by East Waste. Contact East Waste with respect to the following:
Before reporting a missed bin collection, check the collection day
All waste bins (blue lid) are collected each week, recycling (yellow lid) and organic (green lid) bins are collected fortnightly on alternate weeks.

Is your bin damaged or needs maintenance?
If a bin is missing after being placed out for collection or you have recently moved into the property and there is a missing bin/s, it should be reported as missing or stolen.
If you have recently moved into a new home, you are entitled to a kerbside bin collection service comprising:

Bins are the property of Council and should not be removed if you sell or relocate.

Business, industrial and commercial premises are not entitled to additional bins and are expected to access commercial waste and recycling collection services.
If the property is being demolished or redeveloped the bins with Council’s logo need to be returned. When the property is reoccupied, the bins can be resupplied.
